Does hair grow in the rooted areas?

A part of the hair comes back in the area where the hair follicle is taken. But not all come back. 2-3 out of 4-5 hair follicles taken into the micropunch chamber will come back in 1-2 months as the root does not grow. That's why the area where the hair follicle is taken creates a sparse appearance than normal until the 2nd month. But from the second month, it returns to its normal frequency and there is no sign of a purchase in the area taken.

Can roots be taken from other parts of the body, except the nape, in hair transplantation?

During hair transplantation, if the hair in the nape area cannot give enough graft amount, we may have to resort to other areas in order to close the open area. These regions; beard can be considered as the hair in the chest and back area. But beard is the first preferred area due to its growth rate and being closer to hair quality.

Will there be any scars in hair transplantation?

There are three stages in hair transplantation; 1- taking the roots, 2- opening the canals and 3- planting. Stages 1 and 2 of these three stages are the stages in which the stages that will cause scarring after hair transplantation are observed. It should be noted that the micropulls from which the roots are taken in the first stage are between 0.6 or 0.7 mm depending on the thickness of the hair follicle. If the thickness of the micropunch is higher, it is inevitable that permanent scars will form in the area taken.

When can I enter the pool, sea, sauna after hair transplant?

One week after the operation, you can swim in the sea. But since the chloride level of the pool is very high, it would be more appropriate to enter it after 2 weeks.

Can I wear a beanie or hat after hair transplantation?

A hat can be worn 2-3 days after the operation. For berets, it would be more appropriate to wait a week.

How many hours does hair transplantation take?

It takes an average of 6-8 hours depending on the amount of hair follicles to be transplanted. This period includes the patient's lunch break and rest periods.

Is there any pain after hair transplantation?

After hair transplantation, there is no pain like the FUT technique used in the past. Because pain thresholds differ from person to person, some patients may feel so much pain that they need to use painkillers only in the evening of the intervention day. After using painkillers, this complaint also goes away completely. Patients with a high pain threshold, on the other hand, do not experience any problems that may even require the use of painkillers.
